Safety and fire protection

Please note

For fire safety reasons, only materials with sufficient certification are permitted at UZH for events, particularly in escape and rescue routes. Only non-combustible materials certified in accordance with the VKF1 fire protection standard applicable in Switzerland may be used in escape and rescue routes.
(RF1) applicable in Switzerland. Certifications in accordance with the EU standard SN EN 13501-1:2009, which has been adopted in Switzerland, may also be accepted. For temporary events, materials that are considered “flame-retardant” may be permitted after a detailed risk analysis, may be permitted. Certifications according to the German standard DIN 4102 (such as B1 or B2) cannot be accepted, nor can certificates according to the French standard NF P 92-503 (such as M1 and M2). Remark:
Mail to info@digitalprint.ch and mention that you would like a roll-up with a special flame-retardant film and that you are from UZH. These roll-ups are approx. 20 CHF more expensive than the conventional ones. As the company does not produce roll-ups with this special film every day, it is advisable to allow sufficient lead time.
The costs for the production will be borne entirely by you.
