Working in Switzerland: Information on work permits for non EU/EFTA citizens
The Office for Economy and Labour of the Canton of Zurich gives general information about Swiss labor market policies and procedures concerning the access to employment/ work permits for non-EU/EFTA nationals in Switzerland.
At the end of this presentation, students, doctoral students and Post-Docs from non EU/EFTA countries will have learned more about the economic framework around the work permit regulation in Switzerland in order to be better informed and manage their expectations when startin their job search on the Swiss market.
Please be aware that regulations and proceedures may vary from one canton to another. This session aims to give an overview in order to better understand the concept of work permits in general and specifically for the canton of Zurich.
