Dipendra Kandel Initiative

The Dipendra Kandel Initiative (DKI) is a Nepal-based independent think tank and nonprofit organization founded by Engr. Dipendra Kandel. It is dedicated to improving public governance and fostering international collaboration through policy research, election observation, city twinning, and economic diplomacy—including thematic diplomacy in education, sports, tourism, aviation, and culture. DKI also implements grassroots social development programs in education, health, youth empowerment, gender equality, tourism, and disaster resilience, while hosting impactful events and summits that connect stakeholders and drive policy innovation.
